La Banquise is a full menued 24 hour Casse-Croûte (including a huge list of poutines). Well known within the French community, but not so well known with the Anglophone and University crowds. This is too bad because something that unites people in Montreal has got to be the poutine, of which La banquise has about the best I’ve ever had. In Montreal we are all fascinated by the poutine, and in line with that interest comes a never ending supply of Top Ten Poutine lists. Here is one offered by the Mirror(of course this one’s only a top 5):
