Ahhh Roadsworth. Maybe Montreal’s most prolific stencil artist, anyone who had the fortune of being around the donttown area last year has more than likely seen his work. Unless maybe you were walking around with you’re eyes closed. We finally found out for sure who was doing all that stencilling when Roadsworth got busted in December ‘04 and charged with 85 counts of public mischief. The funniest part of that story is that this past spring he got a city permit to paint a 1/4 kilometer stretch of a bike path.
There are tonnes of sites online featuring Roadsworth’s art and news about him. He actually writes into Wooster Collective sometimes and they probably have the most comprehensive Roadsworth collection besides for maybe Zeke’s Gallery page. I wasn’t about to start counting images. If you want more Roadsworth just google it, theres more than I expected.
