I had forgotten about this pic. This happened sometime during the summer at the height of tourist season. I don’t know why the clown got arrested. I saw a police car pull up and the two officers walked straight up to the guy and put him under arrest. Luckily for us, this nice photographer Shane happened to get some pics and sent this one to me. I laughed my ass off the whole ride home… I was on my bike.

It’s about bloody time the authorites started cracking down on these verminous nuisances, these “entertainers!”
When I want entertainment, do I go wandering about in public places searching for some balloon-twisting, whoppee-cushion-wielding non-conformist! No way!
I turn to my television where it’s nice and safe and sanitized and I don’t have to worry about the germs these so-called “clowns” are probably harbouring and spreading with their lunatic antics.
I mean, look at this picture - the guy doesn’t have a cel phone, an Ipod OR a USB drive around his neck - he’s obviously a technophobe subversive!
I hope the cops bust up this bugger’s whole network of street performer criminals and make Montreal’s streets safe again for us technological automatons who get entertainment from machines and not from humans.
That’s what this great country was built upon and that’s the way it should always be kept!
