Explosions of the Fantastic is showing at the VAV Gallery, which is the Concordia fine arts gallery. The Vernissage was very well put together. There was good tunes and hors d’oeuvres served by waitresses in lingerie. I enjoyed myself and was kept entertained by the performance art acts. The show featured works by Melissa Matos, who showed us her impressions on fashion and industrialism, and Gilles Marciano who did the Vegas inspired performace art installation. This gallery is the best one I’ve seen at Concordia so far this year, if you get the chance… stop by and check it out.
