The Gazette ran an article on Motel Canada’s potential closing. Does anyone really care? According to the article Roxane Arseneault does, she’s writing her thesis on Quebec’s Culture of Kitsch. Hmmm… still does anyone care? The folks over at Urban Photo might, they wrote an article titled “Save Our Cities Kitsch.”

For those of you that can listen to french. Radio-Canada had a great little video ticket on Montreal’s Kitch.

Hotel Canada can leave for all I care because it’s not tastefull kitch, but places like the tiki or the Julep are now icons.
